2005 Nissan Altima – Paint Correction
You may have seen some of my pictures from a thread that featured wetsanding and surbuf pads.
I did this correction for my sister as a Christmas gift. It was completed over 4 days and totaled about 16 hours. The car sits outside 24/7 and was in pretty rough shape. The entire car took a two step, M105/Surbuf and M205/White CCS all on a PCXP. The trunk was wetsanded because of some pretty deep scratches. Interior was also cleaned up. The hood had some pretty deep scratches that I didn’t want to risk wetsanding, appeared to be from bird droppings. Headlights were also restored.
Paint Correction Products Used
M105, M205, M21
Surbuf, White CCS (5.5 inch pads), Yellow and Green (4 inch pads)
PCXP, 5inch and 3.5 inch backing plates

After pictures aren’t great and don’t do justice but the car looks so much better. Actually looks black now compared to the grey color it looked like before.
