Audi A6 Detail by M.R. Detail Shop

I got a call from the client the other day in a panic, he had "some stuff" on the hood and wanted it off ASAP!! I said not to worry just drop the car off and I'd take a look. What I found was definitely "some stuff" that I am still unsure of what it was. My first thought was sap but it was as smooth as the paint. Look at the pictures and tell me what you think it is, it was almost like wet leaves were on the car for a while and stained the CC. Heres the process:
    • Two bucket wash method with CG Wash and Gloss concentrated to strip prior protection and maybe the "stuff"
    • Megs Wheel Brightener and various brushes on wheels
    • Megs APC+ (4:1) and various brushes on tires and wheel wells
    • Optimum Metal Polish and steel wool 0000 on exhaust tips
    • Clay Magic with Dodo Juice Born Slippery clay lube ("stuff" still there)
    • Tarminator on stubborn build up and on the "stuff" (still there)
    • M105 flat orange LC pad on PC7424X ("Stuff" gone!!!)
    • po85rd flat white LC pad with PC7424X
    • Glass cleaned with Invisible Glass
    • Glass treated with Aquapel
    • Exterior trim treated with 303 Aerospace protectant
    • Door jams sealed with M21
    • Interior leather cleaned with woollite (10:1)
    • Leather conditioned with Wolfgang Leather Conditioner
    • Dash, console and door panels cleaned with Einzett Cockpit Premium
    • Dash and door panels treated with 303 Aerospace Protectant
    • Wood grain protected with M21
    • LSP BFWD by PC7424X with blue flat LC pad
    Enjoy the pictures!
    Before check out the "STUFF"

Almost looks like some sort of iron or metal product on the hood, then once water mixed with it it showed up almost like rust.

The other day I washed my car and I was wearing my work shoes (I work in an HVAC warehouse with A LOT of metal products).. I looked down after spraying my car down and the toes of my shoes were copper orange from all the metal flakes that had acquired on them.

    Good turn around though!

    Car turned out great!

I'm guessing the stains were from leaves. I've experienced the same thing on my 4Runnner after leaves have set for a short time on the finish.

thank you! I still think its residue left from leaves sitting on the paint for a while and getting wet.

Very Very Nice job on the Car.
What you did to the interior is great.
I wish I had the patience to do my interior.

    Keep up the good work.

They are from my blog, which I realized this morning is set up as large image files. I have since fixed it, nothing I can do about this one unless I repost it.
