When using the surbuf and PCXP, how much pressure did you apply? Weight of the polisher, light, meduim, heavy?
Thanks Mark! I used the weight of the polisher and very light pressure...though after seeing the thread by KB I plan to mess around with it a little more.

Thank you. I used 6.5" pads for most the car and 4" pads for the tight areas.

Rasky, do you ever use Menzerna polishes(SIP, PO106FA, 85RD) with a DA, or do you mostly use a rotary?

I do indeed, but whenever possible I like to use M105/M205 simply because I hate the longer working times of the Menzerna polishes....which seem to take forever on a DA.
When I do use them SIP is almost always on rotary for me as well as PO85RD. I will use 106fa for both DA and rotary and Power Finish is probably the only one I use on the DA 99% of the time. This is because it's almost always used as a 1-step product and I want to be sure I'm 100% hologram free.
At the end of the day I choose what ever product gives me the best results in my test panels.
Cheers,
Rasky

Nice, that car is hot for a Cadillac.
You used M105 with the surbuf and then M105 again with the white pad? or did you mean 205?

Nope, M105.
However, I used it in conjunction with a process Todd Helme posted over on TID. I'd link the thread but I think it may be against forum rules.

Great job man.
Well the final step was with the rotary but the main correction was all DA. The PCXP definitely has more power than the older one but I would suggest trying your current polisher with the Surbuf pads first as I think you will be surprised just how much correction you can still achieve.
