nice turn around there. just a quick question. why did you just not get some of the Meguiars or 3M foam sanding pads? is there something special about the ones you got from overseas?

Thank you all very much! I'm glad it has been popular, goes to show just how much of a following the GNs have. We have had numerous inquiries already on repeating the process for other GNs.

The sanding pads are either 3M or Abralon pads. The Abralons were ordered from a store based in the UK, but I think you can find them stateside by now. At the time they were the only 2000 grit 6" disc we could find for velcro PC. We wanted another step in between the 1500 and 3000 3M grit discs.

actually the Albaron bowling pro shops have been using them for years but thanks for the info on the pads

the local shops may not sell you any. but i will look through my bookmarks and find a few places.
