It's on days like this that i fully realize never regretting giving up my dental bussiness more than 10 years ago. Sitting on a boatlift above the water on the intracoastal, not having to deal with employees or a boss, doing what i enjoy and getting payed for it.
This guy had his boat detailed 4 months ago and asked me if i could wax it so he could put it up for sale.
When i got there i asked him what exactly they did 4 months before because it looked like he needed much more than a wax . He said they had just waxed it and i explained to him that everything looked pretty faded and that i needed to do some compounding.
He said: "do what you need to do".
Years ago when i started out detailing, i was using a lot of products from Pro and i still use a compound-polish mix when i work on boats from them.
It leaves a nice finish that i can wax right after the compounding.
