This is my friend's car. He's a cop, so I spit on it. OK that was a corny joke.

Anyways, he picked this car up last June and it's been in serious need of a detail. Lots of swirls, and what pissed me off the most was all the wax in the edges of his stripes. I ended up using Menzerna Super Intensive Polish via LC Tangerine Hydro-Techs, and they left such a nice finish that I was able to go straight to PO85RD with a gray finishing pad.

The worst part about this detail was the weather. Storms were looming all day and finally let out as I was finishing up. My Menzerna SIP was acting up due to the humidity, leaving gummy chunks of polish and dust everywhere, so I ended up re-washing the car in the pouring rain. The car also didn't fit all the way in the garage, so I had to seal the back half of the car while the front got poured on, then back it all the way in, dry the front and finish. What a nightmare!

I spent a good bit of time with Menzerna Top Inspection and a microfiber getting all the wax out of the edges....

Broke out the trusty little PC7424 with 4" pads for the bumper. I was working PO85RD in this picture.

OK, now the second worst part of this detail. I couldn't get any "after" shots. I was stuck in the tiny one car garage, and it was dark and pouring outside. These were the only shots I managed to take.

BUT, you know I wouldn't do that to you guys. My friend was nice enough to take some pics of the car a few days later. :)

Very nice!!! I love those cars, I bet he has a lot of fun driving that around, especially now that it' so shiny!

excellent result

Im still trying to get my head around the difference between the different menz polishes

Very nice. Hope you gave the owner some tips on how to maintain that great finish you gave him.:xyxthumbs:

What would you like to know? :)

When can I try it out, LOL!!! Actually I was reading another one your threads and I think I found the answer I was looking for, that this is a new sealant that Max has you teasting for him. I must say this new sealant looks like a winner to me in the looks department.:dblthumb2:
