    1st post-worthy detail; 2009 Ford Ranger

Santa brought me a PC, and my step-dad let me practice on his Ranger daily driver. I wasn't after perfection; just improvement for the truck and knowledge/experience for me. After 21 hours and that many MF towels, here's the result:

    Wash
Foam gun w/DP Xtreme Foam and 1 cap of ONR
    Boars Hair Brush
    Guzzler

    Wheels, Wheel wells, & Tires
    PB Wheel & Tire Cleaner
Daytona Speed Brush and small tire brush
    Wolfgang Black Diamond Tire Gel

    Clay
    Wolfgang Poly Clay & Lube

    Engine
DP Final Gloss on painted surfaces
DP Cleanse-All Exterior Cleaner on everything else I could reach

    Interior
Metro Vac-N-Blo (I love this little vacuum!!!)
DP Total Interior Cleaner on all plastic surfaces

    Paint
    Pennicle XMT Swirl Remover2
    Klasse AIO
    Wolfgang DGPS
    Dodo Juice Hard Candy

    Windows
    Stoners Invisible Glass

    Here the general before condition:

It had these spots on the hood and cab:

    Door handle before & after:

    Interior before & after:

    Engine before & after:

Wheel well before & after (could have spent a little more time on this, but I didn't):

    And those rewarding after shots:

Hood reflection in the garage (no more spots!):

    And finally, my favorite:

All feedback or questions are welcome! Thanks for looking!

Truck looks much better, very nice first post you may want to think about using a water based dressing on your engine jobs. Just a suggestion, something like PB Bold & Bright or even CD-2 engine detailer from auto zone though CD-2 is not water based. check out the difference here No touch engine detail! - DetailCity.org - Auto Detailing & Car Detailing Forum
I was a total newbie when I did this engine and now would not reccommend the use of gunk engine bright.

Very nice work. 21 hours is quite a bit of time. I just finished detailing a Nissan Frontier yesterday and took a bit over 10 hours to finish, but your results look better. Good job.
