2009 Harley Davidson Street Glide

Here's an '09 HD I recently did. The owner had just returned from an 8 hour trip that took him through rain and snow. The bike was the dirtiest it had been since he purchased it. We weren't going for 100% correction because this is a well-used bike. I got pretty close, though.

I spent almost 4 hours on it just washing every nook and cranny. It was by far the longest wash of my life. Since it was so dirty, I knew if I missed anything it would stand out. That's the reasoning for taking so long to wash everything. The saddlebags, seat, sissy bar, and rack were all removed prior to washing to assist in getting to everything.

Blackfire Poly Clay and Last Touch Detailing spray 1:1 was used on the paint and the exhaust. I used M80 and a polishing pad on the paint and topped it with Blackfire Wet Diamond. Neverdull was used on the chrome trim to remove some waterspots. PlastX was used on the fairing and Hyperdressing 4:1 on the seat. The seat was then wiped down with a damp cloth.

Thanks, guys. Even though it was a pain to wash (I've since ordered the EZ Detail Brush), I really enjoyed this one.
