    Back In Black!

Recently, my dad's RX400h returned home after a fiasco with the local Lexus dealer. Long story short, they had to replace the navigation reciever and wound up screwing up the Ipod dock, navigation system, and had to replace the entire dash because of some incompetent mechanics. They had the car for a month and not so much as one apology.

Anyways, I digress! Unfortunately the dealer ignored my dad's request not to wash the car and used a brush to clean it. It was swirled up so I figured I would freshen it up before it gets shipped to California next week.

    Products and Process:

    -Wash with Megs Gold Class
-Menzerna Power Finish on a 4" white CCS pad
    -Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant
    -Collinite 476
    -Rain-x on the windows
    -Poorboys Wheel Sealant
    -Black Magic Matte tire
-Interior vacuumed, leather cleaned and conditioned, all plastics dressed.
    -303 Protectant used throughout.

Sorry for the picture quality, I have been playing with my camera but think that I need a real DSLR.

Thanks, its always frustrating though because I can never seem to get the pictures to really recreate what the car actually looks like... Oh well, it was rainy today (of course, karma of cleaning the car).

I wish I could capture the way cars that I detail really look since I find these are not really representive of how good the car appears in person haha. I just saw your thread, great job!

    Re: Back In Black!

Well, the car is officially off to California. It got picked up about 30 minutes ago and will be driven to NJ where they will load it into a covered car transporter. The cool thing is that the spot in the truck reserved for it is the front top space so that it doesn't have to be pulled in and out to make way for other cars like the other spaces... Pretty cool!

The last time it will be sharing a space in the garage with the Saab:

And its gone, now the Saab has the garage to itself:

Anyways, just though I would add this since it is a big trip for the car and means that my dad will be leaving soon which means I will be the only Martell in the Northeast for a while!
