Re: Red Porsche Carrera
Thank you fellows. Much appreciated
It's nice to be back posting on AG. I've been busy, I've done a lot of detailing, but my camera went missing in action. I finally found it. Got lost during a move-in
Anyway...AG now carries Griots products. I bought some of the blue MF towels, and I love them. Good towels to remove sealant, polish, and have a nice feel to it
I also got from AG the Griots 3" Random Orbital. It's a timesaver. I love this little tool
M105. This product is so easy to use, it's ridiculous. I was afraid of using it. I've read so many complicated stories, I didn't know what to expect
Really, very easy to use, it doesn't dry right away like I was imagining, you can keep working on it longer and safely. Not only will it remove defects faster with my Flex, but if you work it correctly with minimal pressure it will leave a glossy finish
M105 it's just nice. I've never got to use the original version, this M105 and M205 I've got are the DA version, so it may be the reason why it was so easy to use, and so awesome!
I won't comment on the Blackfire WD since AG does not carry it, but let me just say I bought an extra bottle a week after I've used it for the first time...

Great work. Your prep and Blackfire Wet Diamond left a great look!

That was my thought exactly.
I've got to do something. I couldn't resist!
My friend has a kid that does all the detailing for him, and I've watched him work, and he does a really great job. They have the Prima line and Griots line as their product of choice. They got a Makita and the Griots DA Buffer also. So, their detailing department is really nice and well-equipped
I asked the kid why he didn't polish the Red Porsche, and he told me he was afraid of working on single stage paints
So, that's how I ended up doing this for my friend
