    Detail: 2005 Chevy Cobalt LT

Hey guys it's been a while since I've posted anything on here. Just today I did my buddy's sister's car, a 2005 Cobalt.

Car is in pretty good shape but definitely hasn't been cleaned since it was brand new I think.

I didn't get a ton of pictures, but I got the ones that counted. I spent a good bit of time on the interior and as you can see from the before pics, it needed it.

My process for the car was:

    Interior:
APC+ on all the plastics and mix of toothpicks/QTips and brushes.

Carpet was sprayed with APC, agitated with carpet brush, wiped with damp MF towels and then extracted with ShopVac.

    Windows done with Stoner's IG

    Exterior:
Pre-soak/Pre-wash with Meg's APC+ and PB Bug Squash

Wash with Meg's Crystal Shine and Ulti-Mitt

    Tar removal courtesy of Tarminator

Wheels and tires pre-soaked with APC+ 3:1 and washed with brushes and foam pads.

    Dry with Absorber

Clayed with Mother's ClayBar and QD

    Polish with XMT 360

    Wax with Collinite's 845

Tires done with Meg's Hot Tires Foam

Wells done with 1Z tire foam

Now for a couple of pictures:

Nice work. How did you go about cleaning the crevices of the steering wheel controls?

Nice work man. Been funny to see your buddy's face on the after.

Never seen that much crud on a steering wheel before lol.

Diluted degreaser and compressed air usually get the nasties out of tight spaces, like the controles on the steering wheels and whatnot

What kind of correction do you get off of XMT 360? I got some, but I must be doing something wrong because I get very little correction and work time by PC, just wondering what your technique and experience is with it.
Anyhow, kudos for a great job!

Very nice job. You said you pre-soaked/pre-washed with Meg's APC+? Did you like shoot it out of a foam cannon or did you mix it in a bucket of water or what?
