    Griots 3 in 1

I am a fan of many Griots products and their 3 in 1 wax leaves a great Shine.

I'm starting to have a change of heart with the product.

I first used it on my car as quick defense against the winter weather until I could do a proper detailing when the weather warmed up. That application only seemed to last about eight weeks, the beading was sub-par as was the water sheeting. Nothing I'd associate with any ceramic product I'd used in the past.

Fast forward a few months and I've started routinely detailing my mother-in-laws car whenever we travel to her place for a visit. I started applying 3-in-1 simply to use it up and get it out of my garage. This time around, I found it still holding up nearly three months later, the beading and sheeting is respectable, and it looks pretty good. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I'm satisfied with the results for the circumstances.

I've liked the stuff when I've used it in the past. Biggest part I liked is the near-idiotproofness of it (Griot's, you can use that if you're reading this... ).

I tried Cancoat (MK1) once, and found it to be far more stressful than I care to endure during my limited time I can put towards this detailing hobby. I quickly found my lighting situation was sub-optimal, and just overall wasn't left running back to complete the can.

The 3 in 1 was much easier to use, and the one time I got a high spot it wiped away with another quick application. While, like you say Desertnate, the water behavior isn't mind blowing, after going through a MN winter I could still see that it was still working under the grime. (By way of water still trying to bead, as well as easier cleaning than if it had run it's course).
