I've recently seen numbers all over the place, first from dynod Stage 1 cars (310-320whp) to that Kona N putting down its quartet mile time and it needs 340-350 whp to run that, IMO that number is optimistic for a Stage 1 tune, Stage 2...no problemMy 2019 Jetta GLI 35th Edition

I guess we'll find out at the dyno, stay "tuned"My 2019 Jetta GLI 35th EditionMy 2019 Jetta GLI 35th Edition

Yea that seems high for a stage 1 tune even with FBO.

The graphs from APRs website for my file. The numbers are with all of their recommended bolt-ons. Catback, intake, intercooler, and coil packs with the Audi plugs. I have two of the four plus the inlet pipe. So I am probably under their numbers by 20 horse or so. I imagine anyways.

Plenty of videos of cars trolling big-game with this turbo in these cars. They're extra spicey. The EA888 Engine in the GTI and GLI has higher compression than the Golf R and S3 thr turbo typically finds itself on. Oh, and the TT-S. Anyways, that means the extra 5lbs of boost or so brought to the table is very impactful. I know I caught up to that G35 really fast....and the surroundings suddenly start to look like the stars passing by the starship Enterprise when she warps My 2019 Jetta GLI 35th Edition

Yes it's an OEM+ IS38 Turbo from the Mk7 Golf R/Audi S3. Bolts right up. No retrofitting needed.

Re: My 2019 Jetta GLI 35th Edition

It's comforting knowing that if I ever wanted to go further with my car it would be as simple as ordering this turbo kit, which also bolts up to the factory downpipe. This is a beautiful turbocharger. But I wanted a 400hp VW. I will save the DTR for when I want a 450hp VW.
