BTW... Great work, Paul!
Are you saying you don't like the shaker?
If so, I agree. Just seems out of place.
Add to that, rear window louvers are not my cup of tea either.
But, to each their own I guess.

I can see the appeal, but I think they should stay in the past. Those things were once fitted to the GT Falcon's back in the 1970's, but people decided to slash open their hood and fit them to modern Falcon's, they just look out of place to my eye.

Agree, it doesn't seem to "fit".
I do like the shakers on the classic Mustangs that had them (factory installed), as well as the 03-04 Mach 1's. Some of those Mach 1's that had shakers would also have rear louvers. I wasn't really a fan either, but they seemed to fit the look on those models.

Re: Mustang Mach 1
The Mopar and TransAm shakers looked good, too. Mopar also had the "Air Grabber". Fun times.

Scott, outstanding,(as usual). Looks like it had a ton of free dealer car washes.

That thing was hammered! Nice save! You pulled some large pieces of furniture out on that one!

5k miles and that….shape. No offense to the owner on that. But damn, the paint was a crime scene and the tires were so brown they were almost red.
Hope this is the start of an easier life for that car lol. Great work here as always.

Re: Mustang Mach 1
Not a HUGE Mustang fan (as I'm a Camaro guy at heart), but I will give credit where credit is due. That IS a really nice car (AFTER you worked your magic on it).
The shaker hood I'm more "on the fence" about, but it doesn't totally rub me the wrong way. The rear louvers though - I'd rather see them gone (don't like them on the 5th & 6th gen Camaros either).
As for my personal opinion, the Mustang IS a classic car (most gens anyway - same as the Camaro) and DOES NOT deserve to ever be in that kind of condition. Whoever would let or CAUSE a car get in THAT poor condition, probably shouldn't own one, it's a disgrace to the car's heritage.
HOPEFULLY since you were able to 'bring it back from the undead, the owner will "see the light," and take better care and not think: "He fixed it, so it's OK to keep treating it the way I have been." If so, then they deserve to have the car removed by Automotive Social Services and given a forever home where it will be cherished, and given a 1978 Honda Civic to abuse.

Thanks everyone! LOL Paul, yes, at least one large sized piece was removed...
Don-he has been educated and now has the proper materials and knowledge to take care of it properly.
LOL at 'crime scene' JD!
Thanks again!
