    Truck Panel

I made the swirls worse by removing some tree sap. Paint correction with 3D 501 and my Griots G9 and G8 for the tight spots.

Looks awesome! Did you use just the 501, no follow up? Which pads did you use?

I used the 501 only with a Lake Country yellow pad. It was the first time using the Griots G8 and it is a powerful 3” machine.

Beautiful results, Davy! I've never used the LC yellows but after seeing those pics i might have to try them.

    Nice finish on GM paint.

I can't see it too well in the pics.

You're gonna have to catch the ferry and show me in person in the parking lot of Front Street Station after we down some oysters and beers.........

It always surprises me how yellow LC pad can finish nicely on some paints.

For some paints it's an overkill and needs follow-up with orange or even softer, depending on compound.

I did work on the panel last year with orange pads and 501 but it never completely cleared up the finish. The yellow pads seemed to work.
