New client wants his favorite Porsche looking the best it can. He looked for over 2 years for this spec. It was swirl city! Swirls, scratches, scuffs, some road paint, etc. Corrected and protected!

The ‘details’:

Adam’s shampoo, rubber cleaner, wheel cleaner, glass cleaner.
McKee’s37 iron remover.
DP hydro blue on wheels/calipers.
DeFelsko PTG’s.
Scangrip lighting.
Flex machinery.
LC pads.
Griot’s compounds/polishes.
Optimum panel wipe.
22ple Mistico Elemento Forte.
Metro vacuum.
Pinnacle interior cleaner/conditioner.
GYEON Tire.

Thanks for looking!

If I ever get a Porsche I’m having it shipped to you first lol.

Nice job.

Stunning work on my fav Porsha color.

Let me ask, Scottie...

Do you find various hardness/softness paints within Porsche paints?

You work on Porsches??

Huh. Learn something new every day.

:laughing::laughing:

Awesome stuff there, Mike DaRukie!!

Thanks everyone!! Appreciate the comments!!

Paulie-LOL at Mike DaRukie! Haha!

My other Paul, Tampa Paul: Yes, most definitely. And they run the spectrum. Some are easy to work with, others HARD, some are almost too soft and finicky! I find most 'base' non-metallic colors are on the softer side-except for white-usually hard!

Scottie....... Do you find these differences between models, years, or both?

Thanks Scott. I have a 911 coming up soon and that may help narrow down my test spots.

every time I see a Porsche, it reminds of an old joke

...i said paint my porch...not my Porsche!! :P

you do great work...i know it's a small detail in everything you did, but getting the swirls out of that clear plastic is top shelf stuff....couldn't imagine that job looking as good without handling that as well as you did

Thanks Lance! And LOL!!

Both Pauls: Yes, it can vary over model/year/color.

If you need anything up there let me know, always happy to help if I can/pick my brain...just too far for me to take a run to Tampa! LOL

Aweaome work as always!

Question for ya..what makes you decide on what coating to go with? I notice you have been switching between 22ple and adams.

^^^Thanks opie!

I offer one as an entry level coating and the other as my pro level coating. I also look at how the vehicle is used/stored/kept/etc and speak to my client about what they are looking for in a coating prior to making a decision/giving them the differences between the offerings.

In the near future I will be only offering 1 coating.
