    2021 Toyota Camry

I worked on this 2021 Toyota Camry a few weeks ago. It was certified pre-owned with 8K miles on it.

The goal was a one step polish or as pro detailers like to say a paint enhancement to make it sound fancy.

The paint was in relatively good condition. The test spot proved that Dr. Beasley’s NSP 45 on a foam cutting pad was the combination to produce good results. Removing 70-80% defects and in some cases 90%. The paint was on the soft side.

Was it perfect? Absolutely not. But it looked much better and the owner has no idea what a swirl is and wanted protection and shine. We all want the paint perfect but in the end you have to give the customer what they want while ignoring what you want. Also this is a daily driver the end goal is to preserve the clear coat for long term ownership.

Didn't take too many photos but there are videos on my channel.

Coating of choice was the DP GR4 Graphene Coating. This is a very user friendly coating to work with like all PBMG coatings. It will darken the paint as well.

The paint is dark blue with some green flake in it, which gives it a green appearance in certain lighting conditions.

Nice job Mike. I‘ve only used Glassparency Boost as a drying aid but I really like it. Thanks for recommending it. You mentioned using the Glassparency tire dressing and that made me wonder what is your current favorite dressing. I still have some DG 253 but I’m running low.

I have been alternating between CarPro Perl and Glassparency Tire Dressing.
