Beautiful 911 in Gentian Blue Metallic get's coated
How long does Q2Trim last? How does WETS compare to it?
As far as the brake components on that vehicle, are they sensitive to any wheel cleaners?

Q2Trim will eat WETS for lunch as far as longevity goes. I actually like the Gtechniq offering, C4. Some vendors offer it in small 15ml bottles which comes in handy, something Gtecniq gets points for with many similar products in their line. I apply as needed; for Summer cars, maybe once a year, year round drivers likely the same but they fade in the Winter so I dont much care.
Mostly though if I'm recoating one of our cars, I'll spring for a bottle if Kami ISM 1.0 just for trim, cowls, vents, wiper arms and such. Kinda a pricey proposition but that stuff lasts multi-years on Sumner cars so worth it to me in those circumstances.
Can't comment on wheel cleaners as I dont use 'em once wheels are coated.
Back to Gentian Blue, dream would be a new GT4 in that color but I think I'm past the point of being willing to maintain dark colored paint

My wifes car is 2.5 years and Q2 trim looks like day one. No issues on these brakes. Just be careful if you work on ceramic brakes.

Any particular vehicles known to have ceramic brakes?

Porsches w yellow brake calipers (usually denoting PCCB option) is one I know of. Although I'd guess rge way Porsche is willing to do nearly anything if you pay enough yellow calipers are likely not constant w PCCB.

I guess GM offered Carbon Ceramic rotors on a few of the top level Vettes and Camaros in recent times; ZL1, ZR1's and I'd guess more than a few exotics.
Obscenely expensive option, think it's around $13k from Porsche (who is soon moving to new hi end brake tech I believe) but supposed to be very little brake dust and in normal usage, last a lifetime.
Should you somehow goon up a rotor though, the cost af a set of replacements is apparently more than a little depressing.
