The techniques and products I learned about during the free live training worked absolutey wonderful even on a neglected Chevrolet SSR

The techniques and products I learned about during the free live training worked absolutely wonderful even on a neglected Chevrolet SSR

Recently I watched one of the free live training videos that Mike and Yancy do. This one was about cosmetic engine compartment detailing.

I did a cosmetic engine compartment detail on this neglected Chevrolet SSR, however it likely needed a wet wash. Since I wasn't washing the car my only option was a cosmetic engine compartment detailing.

I used the techniques and the products Mike shows in the training along with a couple of other products and let me just say that this thing actually turned out pretty good Not perfect but I'm still impressed by how it turned out.

Bottom line the techniques that Mike teaches in these live classes works amazing and the products work awesome too I'm incredibly impressed by the black fire one step I mean look how nice it made the paint under the hood look!

Thank you very much Mike and Yancy!

I used sonax glass cleaner in Kwazar Mercury Pro sprayer to de - grease, and then I used a waterless wash product. After that I dressed up the engine compartment with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

I cleaned up the hood insulation with Sonax Glass Cleaner at first and then hit it with a fabric cleaner and a wet microfiber towel wrapped around my designated interior tire brush.

No check engine light came on and there's even a pic of me using Mike's "Cross your fingers" technique.

Here's a link to Mike and Yancy's video:

Yeah, Mike kind of knows what he's talking about...... Lol

If Mike Phillips makes a video, you can take that info straight to the bank.

Mike is the only guy I follow, as I first learned from him. I am only a hobbyist, and I have grown in products/opinions of products.

But, if want the absolute truth about a product or the best way to use it, Mike is the only guy I trust.
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

    I wholeheartedly agree with that!
I have learned more about detailing from Mike than anyone else as well!
One of these days I hope to make it to one of Mike's 3 Day Detailing Boot Camps as I believe they are called. That would be a great vacation! The techniques and products I learned about during the free live training worked absolutey wonderful even on a neglected Chevrolet SSR

    Wow!

Nice work Jacob and GREAT photography!

And as corny as it may be, I've NEVER had a "Check Engine" light come on when I've crossed my fingers before starting the engine. :K
