Re: 1968 Pro-tour Camaro - AG team effort
What a awesome car!! With a big block also! Outstanding job building this car. This is also my vision of a perfect Camaro. RS grill, black paint and a gigantic motor. Nothing gets the blood going like American muscle done the right way. Sir, you have done it the right way!

Yeah, buddy....... You have one incredible ride there.
No matter what your brand affiliation, not one person can deny what an outstandingly beautiful creation the first generation Camaro's were.
Your's is not only beautiful, but a beast!
I think I can speak for us all when I say: "Please keep those pics coming!"
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Thanks guys. Really means alot! Busted my butt the last 4 years on this restoration. Lot of 2 steps forward and 3 steps back on this one, but in the end it is all worth it!

Re: 1968 Pro-tour Camaro - AG team effort
Have a couple more wins under my belt since I last posted but have an issue I need addressed as to what I am doing wrong if anything....
Been having to "wash" and detail the car on site the last 2 shows because of wet roads from rain the night before.
Been using ONR and a bunch of MF towels in a bucket soaking as well as spraying the solution on as a pre-soak One wipe and flip process but still getting light marring/scratching. Also after all 8 sides used it goes into a dirty bucket and not used again.
Afterwards I am wiping down with Crystal Mist by spraying/soaking a mf towel and wiping on due to the fact that I just cannot mist it on the panels parked 2 ft away from the next car.
What am I doing wrong here or is this par for the course?

Damn that's a beautiful machine. Wowzers. Looks amazing.
Looks like you are doing everything you possibly can to clean the vehicle and minimize the marring. I would imagine all micro fibers are off the highest quality and have towels set specifically for certain areas of the car? ie towels only for paint, towels for glass, for wheels, etc?
