^^^Thanks! I had a time issue, so I was pleasantly surprised when it corrected so well with a one stepper. I usually never do them, always multiple steps...

Damn that paint was hammered for a new vehicle! What did the dealer do to it, send it through the panel beater every day!?
Interesting you achieved those results with a one step and two passes.

Another awesome job, Scott!
So the Griot's Perfecting Cream knocked out all of those defects?
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

Re: 2019 Lexus LX570
Wow u did that with 2 pass's? I've never even heard (read) of anybody polishing paint with only 2 passes. U couldn't even do that with diminishing abrasive polishes. I have read the griots is more like a smat polish.
Do u just do that to save time because people don't want to pay?
It's good to know because I was planning to use griots medium with 4-5 passes this summer to save time on a 2 step polish

Re: 2019 Lexus LX570
Mike: As was I!!! I spoke to the owner when he picked it up...told me the car wash they use has brushes!!! Oh no! (not going to be used now!)
Pauly: The paint was VERY soft. Yes, the perfecting cream and yellow Rupes pads did the trick. Some areas may have gotten maybe 3 passes, but I was averaging approx 2 passes and it was correcting very well.
Fight: I actually very rarely do a 1 step correction. I can count on 1 hand how many times I have done them. All are usually 2-3 steps.
This came in for just a sealant and he wanted to interior coated. When I saw the condition of the paint I could not let it go like that with my name on it...so I started to see what it 'liked' and was pleasantly surprised that a finishing pad and polish knocked out the majority of the defects.

Re: 2019 Lexus LX570
That came out awesome and glad to hear it was quick correction work.
I'm guessing the damage is a function of it being very soft. And no more tunnel washes would help.
