    Souveran Wax

I hate to pass on pics from another detailing site as permission is not always warranted. I am hoping Scottwax will allow this pic, and a referral to his post on using Souveran (2nd coat) on Autopia.

I am always impressed with Scott's work and his attitude to a gamut of products he uses professionally. He is not out selling products, but truly showing what proper prep and protection can look like. And those of us that use it truly know its durability is greatly enhanced by using the proper wash products and boosters when needed. Its also darn easy, that a new coat and this liquid luster is only a couple minutes away.

This car has over 120k miles. It clearly shows the glow that all Souveran users (not those pretending to have tried it) love. It also shows that in most cases it does NOT mute flake. Its just that other waxes may have a polymer that enhances flake and lighter colors. Souveran plain doesnt need too and these pics prove it !

To achieve excellence, excellence cannot be rushed. Technique is just as important as the product used.
While my approach takes more time, the results are far superior.

    Re: Souveran Wax

beauty waxes arent typically known for long term durability. There is a reason however that Pinnacle Souveran is always the one to beat, its hands down a great looking wax, easy to use, and wont break the bank. It was even designed to mimic/enhance a 500.00 Zymol offering and 15 years later, is still doing it.

    Re: Souveran Wax

No doubt Souveran is a fine wax, any naysayers either haven't used it, or haven't used it correctly, although the latter seems very unlikely how easy it is. I almost wish there was more of a learning curve to it, but it's perfectly formulated for the new guys to the seasoned pro's.

Troubleshooting is not required, I bet many use way too much of it during application, but it still wipes very clean very easily. I will always use it, and always have a jar.

To better illustrate my feelings on this particular product, here's a c6 polished out to perfection by Todd and myself four days ago wearing Souveran.
