nice of a result. From there it was just a few simple passes with a light polish on a white Hybrid Force Pad to bring it to
an awesome shine.
Nice! What speed did you use with the 3401?

Cut/Polish were both at Speed 6. The only polish I really drop the speed on is Essence as it's finicky with heat build up. seems to work better on the thicker Hybrid Force pads though.

Based on my weather snapshot, I may have just been fortunate in my case. IDK really.

I have an Audi with hard black paint and I only use a pc so I made quite a few passes to clean up the scratches with a microfiber pad before I had any dust so no complaints from me. I used the same Pc and pads with both 105 and menzerna 2500 with no luck before the clearcut.

Honestly I was shocked how well it finished. Even with black paint I felt I could top it and be done. Just out of curiosity what product do you feel finishes better ?

And whatever happened to Fixer?
I should be asking you that, everyone else still sells it but AG. Fixer was reformulated in 2017 according to Corey and I have been loving it.

My guess is the first generation didn't sell well so maybe after it sold out it wasn't brought back.
I still have the full write-up I did for this product before it was introduced, including all the pictures I took as well as my observations from the testing.
Could be the new version does work and if it does, I would be happy to test it again. I have a fairly well dial-in procedure for testing abrasive technology.

Clear Cut is definitely different. It works reverse of most compounds, start . My experience is it does not dust a lot and finishes really well. Its level of aggression can be controlled by the pad. Overall, I liked it.

On softer paints the older version would sometimes leave DA pig tails and would be frustrating. The new reformulated version however performs flawlessly on all paints.

It’s different with the idea of starting out with light pressure and progressively increasing pressure.
Personally, I PREFER it this way. Call me strange.
Also, though it is recommended to be followed up with reflect, I followed up with Essence...MAN OH MAN!
