Did you spend some time on vehicle care education with the owner? What was his reaction to seeing it once completed? These are my favorite type of posts, and we've had a few posted here recently.
Incredible job!
He was blown away. The grin from ear-to-ear and his elated energy was telling. As far as care education, none required. He stated up front he will not clean this himself. So we've got him on our every three month maintenance package.

Man, how could the owner let it get so bad?
Thank you for the comments, and nice to see you back Mike! Hey, it's a German car this time!
Same said as above. He just drove the car everyday and uses the heck out of it. To him, it's just a car... Sometimes I wish I could be that way... or else a certain Mustang in the garage would get driven more often, rather than have had a whole 128 miles put on it last year! :/
Thanks everyone!

WOW! That poor P car was hammered! Great work, save, write-up, pics and final work! Owner must think that you replaced it with a different (new) vehicle!

Damn, Paul.
That looks like a completely different car now. Incredible job, my friend!
It is no coincidence that man's best friend cannot talk.

That thing was nasty looking. Great job recovering it. Awesome looking car. GTS is a great model. It's a relative bargain (only relative other Carrera models.)

Thanks Scott! He was pretty pleased... I had my doubts the night before... I consulted with Wills, and even he had concerns over the water spots... The MF/205 combo worked great!

The "Before" condition is tragic for that class of car. It is akin to an abused, neglected, gifted child that found solace from a guardian angel.
