That paint looks great. Very nice work on a great Italian exotic. Thanks for taking the time on the great write up and photographs.
Those exhaust tips turned out awesome. How did you avoid getting product inside all those small holes in the exhaust tips?

Great work. I wonder if the 1.4mil is an accurate reading or if the material of the underlying panel can throw off the reading? Do those thickness gauges read well on aluminum?

Thanks Paul!!!
Bob, I had one or two that needed to be cleaned out! LOL One of my client's favorite things was the way the exhaust tips turned out!!!

Oh, it's accurate. I use a Defelsko gauge that will read ferrous, non-ferrous, fiberglass, carbon fiber, etc. It will work on pretty much anything a vehicle is made of.
And, yes, they will work great on aluminum!

Another one, Scott?? My head hurts keeping up with you! Outstanding as usual!
Which model Defelsko gauge are you using? Need to get one for myself...

What's your technique for wiping up the drool while working on these beauties?
Great work as always! Amazing car!

Hey Scott, when you work with very soft paint, do you happen to cause marring when applying a ceramic coating? Did you ever run in to a situation where you applied ceramic coating only to find out it induced marring and needed to go back and re correct the panel?

I have not had this happen to me as of yet. I'm not putting that much pressure on the applicator when installing the coating. I also make sure that I have the proper flash time to make sure that the removal will be as 'easy' as possible to prevent the introduction of marring while wiping from my towels.

Damn Scott, yet another beauty and stellar work! Interesting italian flag calipers.
Those outside shots are simply incredible and probably better than when it was new.
