Re: 2015 Impala with Gyeon Syncro (MOHS + Skin)
Excellent write up/pics! It really needed a decon both from a ferrous material and mechanical standpoint! Well done sir!

I am not big on topping a coating with a maintenance spray. Takes away from the base layers performance and they seem to attract more dirt. When I used Cure it was diluted at 1:1 and it's durability goes down at that point.
C2V3 pairs well with C5 Wheel Armour as C5 lacks in hydrophobic behavior.

Thanks. You just reminded me that at the 10 month mark when I did a decon wash, I tried 22ple's clay bar on half the hood. It did nothing to help revive the coating. The first few months of Syncro are pretty impressive thought.
Thanks for the information on 22ple and I look forward to seeing how that does on this car over the course of 2019.

Mike, how did Gyeon Preserve hold up on trim and engine bay?

I only use Preserve on the interior and it does a good job. Much better than say 303. Gyeon Trim has held up just fine and it should as it really does not see the elements like the exterior trim.

Car looks great. Good job. I hope Gyeon works out for you. In my experience, the Gtechniq EXO & CSL Kit has worked out great for me. With a weekly wash (no drying aid) and 2 maintenance toppings of PolishAngel High Gloss I got exactly 2 years out on my dads truck and he takes that thing everywhere.

Syncro was a bit of an under performer for me the time I used it. I was not that impressed with it to use it again. There are much better coatings than it.

Sure you could do that. I don't see the benefit of it given that Skin doesn't last that long away.
