Full detail on my Daily Driver
Did a full detail on my daily driver!
The vehicle overall wasn't terribly dirty but it had some mud in the wheel wells so I couldn't do my normal rinseless.
I did a modified rinseless and pressure washed the wheel wells and wheel wells. I then sprayed some McKee's APC on the wheel wells and tires.
I then mixed up some uber in a small bucket. I used a microfiber dipped in the uber to wash the wheels, barrels and all. Then agitated the apc on the wheel wells and tires with my mothers brushes. Then rinsed everything with the pressure washer.
I then did my normal rinseless with uber and a bunch of microfibers in a "Gary Dean" type wash.
Dried with a guzzler and went on to the interior
Total wipedown with griot's interior cleaner and then PERL'd the whole thing at a 4:1 dilution.
I also used wolfgang total engine cleaner on the engine bay and then the same 4:1 PERL on that.
Here are some pics!
Gonna have to post some more in a min...for some reason it keeps giving me an upload fail

Nice. That looks the HD Ridgid box I have. What do you store in it?

bottom one is full of microfibers, my rupes, pads, extension cord, GG3 with all of its pads and what not.
Middle one is the one shown, it has all of my small spray bottles and other stuff. Trim sealant, uber, blah blah blah. Top has detailing brushes and what not.
Top box has tools. Stuff you might need while detailing. Screwdrivers, small socket set, tape, etc.

clean lookin' ride, love that color and the tint goes well with it. #1 rule = no microfiber towels are ever to touch the ground...

That Durango looks GREAT! Have you ever considered red chasers on the outside of the stripes?

lol...I will agree with the ground...on the sealed garage floor I was a little less careful. There was a trash bag of already dirty microfibers on the ground and the idea was to throw the additional ones on top of it....I got a little careless =) I am currently kind of homeless. This is actually a friends garage. We are staying in our camper until our house is done and our lease ended on our last house december 1st. Good news is, my new garage I had built to be super detailer friendly.

yea, I did those stripes myself. When it is time to redo them, I am thinking about doing the red accent on the side stripes as well as a matte black and red stripe down the whole rig. Kinda like the pic shown.
