That's not a '72...looks like a '69 to me. It does look great though. Nice work.

Correct, 72 was the 2nd gen. That’s a 69 with covered lights.
Amazing work and results! Congrats.

Actually, it's a 68! My bad, I have another customer with a 72 (with is orange... Strange how I messed it up on this post!)
Thanks for the catch!

68 as per reply above. Thanks for catching! Too many vehicles I'm getting posts ready for, mix some of them up too often LOL.

Yup, a 69 had slightly flattened off wheel wells at the top, the side markers were much more rectangular, front turn signals were round, "gills" right in front of the rear wheels, AND the hidden headlights for 69 were "louvered" so WHEN the headlight doors didnt work (They were controlled by vacuum and earlier cars had so many problems with them) the owner could still have some front lighting. Im not obsessed or anything LOL

I thought it might be a '68, that's why I said it looked like a '69 not that it was a '69. lol There weren't many '68s with those headlights were there? It's mainly the '69's that are known for those. I had a '72 Camaro, not an SS though.
