Re: LSN Auto Detail - 2008 Dodge Magnum SRT-8
Great job on a rare car, don't see too many of the refreshed face Magnums, even less SRT8's

Awesome work and station wagon!
I don’t ever get to see regular Magnums, let alone a SRT.
I would love to see someone drop a Hellcat engine into a Magnum.

It is the same platform, 300/Magnum/Charger and shortened to make the Challengers. In the UK they had one called the 300 Touring IIRC and it was a Magnum with the 300 front end, diesel was even an option. I did see one with mfg plates around Detroit before too.

Thanks Justin! We had to do it... our standards just wouldn't settle.

Thanks Klasse Act! I've heard the Magnums are rare, and the owner told me not many SRT-8's out there... I guess he was right. I do admit, there are more mid-2000 300's, Chargers and Magnums here in AZ than there ever were in NH.

Ha! Hellcat in that sled would make it a rocket! Thanks LED!

Now, we didn't get the Magnum down this way but we did get the 300c. Apart from a few differing styling ques, are they kinda the same or am I off track? I detailed a nice 300c SRT8 sedan today for a great client & I find them a very cool car. I like the look of the Magnum too.
As Justin mentioned - sometimes a two step is just the way to go. Pretty sweet results here too, its little wonder the owner was so happy. Great workmanship & fantastic write up, thank you for sharing.
Aaryn NZ.
Hey Aaryn, good to hear from you... saw your post the other day (catch-up on things), haven't had time to reply yet. As Klasse states, the 300/Charger and Magnum were all off the same platform. Guess Chrysler Corp decided to drop the wagon. Rumor has it that either the Charger or 300 will be gone from the line-up as well. Most are betting the 300 due to dismal sales.

Re: LSN Auto Detail - 2008 Dodge Magnum SRT-8
I've seen a pic of a 300 with a Hellcat motor in it...IMO, that would be so sick.
I'm wondering what was used on the tailpipes on this Magnum, though. My 06 300C SRT8 has a corsa cat back system with tips like those on this Magnum. To date, I've touched them once with a Mother's Power Ball and Mother's Aluminum and Mag Polish.

Dude, how sick will that be? I like what Fiat-Chrysler is doing dropping these Hellcat motors into the Charger, Chally, Grand Cherokee, now the Durango, and soon-to-be 300....wow.
