big difference at all? Looks impressive, but how much of a difference does it make? We've got a lot of marble and granite counters that may need that to improve resale.

Re: 04 Beige HiMacs
Wow can you do this on granite. I would like to try it with my rotary ???
Well .... lets just say that a new Ferrari 430 Spyder was delivered to me last week. In that week I would have drove it by all those previous girlfriends who said I would never make it

HiMacs is like Corian, man-made solid surfacing, not true stone.

It did make a big difference, just couldnt get the deeper scars out. Next time I think I will go over with a 1000-1500 grit paper first then maybe a compound.

Yep it is man made, we cook a lot and bang up the kitchen so the counters take a beating. I think with granite I would first try 106ff to see how that goes.
