Beautiful. Have you ever come across a light that is non repairable, to far gone?

Posche 911's and C6 Vette's are notorious in my book. Something in the material makes them much more difficult if they are bad. The unrepairable ones tend to be crazed and cracked on the inside. They can be cleared up but obviously once they crack that's no repairable.
Will be interesting to see which ones are notoriously difficult for others.

WOW! Those look amazing. Have you tried the McKees headlight restoring polish? I would think that you could have just wet sanded with the 2500 IF AT ALL and then used the McKees. Its wonderful and a time saver

Headlight restoration is like voodoo. I don't dare change my potion. There was crazing in the plastic. Sanding was necessary.

I have not come across those types of plastics yet. I have always heard of the Vette lights being impossible.

+1
It is like voodoo. I don't do it for money. I do it for sheer enjoyment of transforming a yellowed, cloudy lens into something that resembles factory clarity. I'm still perfecting my process and method. So far, hand sanding in sequence to 3000, M105, M205, 360, OCW (for UV). I'm always open to suggestions for improvements.

I have too many products already (who doesn't?). My method (previous post) was borne out of using products from my existing inventory and specifically not going out and buying another optimized product. I have no doubts that the McKee's product is a good one. M105/M205 really does a nice job cleaning up the sanding marks and 360 puts the cherry on top. I have all three of those in large quantity already so it is a sunk cost. This is a hobby for me so fortunately, I don't need to optimize for cost and profit.

Bmw are the worst and some Honda because they degrade from the inside.
