    RMD: Truck and Trailer Set-up

REFLECTIONS MOBILE DETAILING: Truck and Trailer Set-up

I’ve had a few requests to take some pictures of my mobile detailing set-up, so I finally found some time today to clean everything up and snap some pictures. I started out detailing as a side job while teaching elementary school Health and P.E. I was having some much of demand for my services I decided to give it a go full-time. So far I’ve very pleased w/ my decision. I currently either wash, wax, or detail 20 to 30 vehicles a week. Most being wash and vacs for my regular clients. I’m beginning to pick up more detail jobs, but it does take time to get the high dollar jobs. I’m at a point now that I can tell new customers that unless they have 3 or more wash and vac jobs I can’t come across town for a 40 dollar wash job. I do however tell them I would love to at least wash and wax or detail their vehicle. Some say no and sound a little pissed, but the ones that say yes are the type of customers I’m trying to attract. One of my goals for this upcoming year is to market myself to higher end clients. I’ve got a few connections in some really expensive private neighborhoods, so hopefully things will pan out. I would love to hear from some you professionals out there on ways to attract the higher end clients.

Nice setup. I like the graphics on the truck and trailer. That bucket with the notches looks useful. 20 - 30 cars a week? I'm tired just thinking about that!

How do you do the tire dressing with the compressor ??? Do you use a water base dressing or Gel ???
Well .... lets just say that a new Ferrari 430 Spyder was delivered to me last week. In that week I would have drove it by all those previous girlfriends who said I would never make it

Very nice set up! Looks real professional. I have a few high end clients.
A dentist and a couple of lawyers. I only detail partime,I work fulltime
for the city. Check on church pastors, doctors, etc. People that do not have the time to wash and detail their ride. Your best clients are those that want your service. You definitely Look Good! Hang in there they'll come.

I can't see myself putting on tire shine any other way. It's Meg Hyper Dressing.

How are you putting the dressing on with the compresor though? Are you spraying it through something like a paint gun?
    Your setup looks great.
