I can just feel the fun factor that one gets from polishing something just like that Studebaker! And the color? Lordy, seeing the transformation in purple is a lot more fun than something like white.
Beautiful job Aaryn!

Thanks Tom.
Agreed mate. This truck was pretty solid all round really, if anything I would say re chrome the grill & call it done. Stunning colour in the sunshine - looked fantastic sitting on the grass at the charity car display over the weekend.

Thank you Richy.
The paint kinda seemed more blue before I started polishing, I guess it had lost all its fizz underneath all the swirls & holograms.

I just saw a green Studebaker pick up parked near our house. I wanted to stop and talk with the owner however he was obviously working on the railroad. First thing I thought about when I saw the Studebaker lettering on the tailgate was this truck that you detailed. I believe the truck I saw was around a 1948, it had a very distinct grill.

Thanks LEDetailing.
Ha, how cool. To be honest, apart from the Studebaker Champ truck I really didn't know they made any other trucks until the owner of this purple 55 said he had purchased it whilst I was detailing his Studebaker car. Quite cool trucks, maybe not as popular as the Chevy or Ford trucks but still loaded with character & great style.
