Took on my first Motorcycle client today which was a very dirty and swirled 2012 Harley Road Glide. No where near as difficult as I thought it would be but had its challenges in the hard to reach areas. Kind of wish I had a smaller polisher for some of the tighter areas. At first I tried using my Rupes with a 6" pad but definitely found it to be too large for a majority of the bike. I ended up using my PC with 3" LC CCS pads which worked fantastic on the entire Bike.
I started by washing the bike down with ONR and followed that up with a mild clay bar (including the Chrome). After everything was clayed and dried I started the paint correction with M105 and an orange cutting pad and then followed up with M205 and a white pad. This was definitely the perfect combo for the Harley's soft paint IMO. I topped everything off with Pinnacle Liquid Souveran wax. No Chrome was polished as the owner wanted to do that himself to save some money. Enjoy the pics!
