Hey guys, wanted to share what I worked on this past Monday. Truck was in Florida all of last week so it was pretty filthy when it got back up here in Maryland. It belongs to my father, I'm actually the only one who has ever touched the paint since brand new. Truck usually never gets real dirty like this and I usually waterless wash + detail spray once or twice a week, but it was so bad this time where I felt that I needed to do a traditional 2 bucket wash. The front plastic valance with all the spots on it was a pain to deal with! Let me know what you think!
-McKee's 37 Road Kill Bug Remover, Diluted 1/1
-Duragloss 901 car wash with Sheepskin Wash mitt, 2 buckets with grit guards
-Cobra Supreme Guzzler Waffle Weave drying towel
-Once it was dry I used Pinnacle Natural Brilliance Spray Wax on the paint
-Hit the chrome grille, wheels, steps, bumpers and exhaust tips with Lucas Slick Mist and a microfiber to dry and shine up.
-2 coats of mothers Back to Black Tire Shine on the tires and a lot of scrubbing and a coat of Mothers Back to Black Trim Restorer on the front valance.
-Interior wasn't bad, I just vacuumed and hit the seats and door panels with Mothers VLR. Ran out of time to mess with the floor mats.
