Staying in the west coast of Scotland our weather is debatable to say the least however got a couple of sunny days over the weekend so thought I'd try out a UK made wax Wowo's detailing butter wax which is a Show wax and i believe shipped to the US but not sure how well known a brand it is. Ironically it was probably a bit warm which is something I rarely say in Scotland but I was determined I wanted to try it out.
Car got the usual snowfoam and 3 bucket wash before claying to clear contaminants it was in pretty decent condition so no full decon. Then gave it a quick going over with the rotary with Scholl S20 black on their black waffle pad. I applied the wax half by hand and half with the rotary which I thought I'd try after reading Complete Guide to a Show car shine this morning thanks Mike. I'd always applied waxes by hand before but thought I'd give it a go and have to say I did like the ease of application and I'll definitely mix and match now for future applications dependent on my mood.
Pics as follows with some nice, IMO, reflection shots.

This was a very oily wax which I'm not used to and think I left it on a bit long as it was a bit grabby to remove. Having had feedback it is basically apply then buff off so I'll try this next time.
Thought I'd post for something a bit different car is a 2012 Mazda MX-5 Kuro edition with the metal folding roof.
Thanks for reading and any comments welcome.
