I too have had different experiences with essence. You do have to learn how it works, I just tried to work it in gently with my Flex 3401 on a 69 Mach 1 with a single stage respray- no way! It was grabby etc. when applied by hand it worked but definitely required close attention. Looked great finished but not as easy as some other stuff.

I honestly didn't watch the clock for this job but I know I took over 5 hours to do the wheels alone. I usually budget 12 hours for a Finest job, but I figured I'd be a bit quicker on this one due to its size.

Well, doesn't that look delicious! I'm a fan of pearl white & Richy you have reinforced why I like it so much! The GLOSS on that is GOBSMACKING! Very true in regards to the touch up paint, three layer pearl simply is impossible to match & as much as I'm with you on the clear bra subject. I think it can be the answer for added protection IF its respected & not left on for too long.
GREAT work Richy, hope the body recovery is fast. Some nice work on your week off.

Thanks so very much Aaryn! I think my next vehicle will be white.

I'm not giving up on it, but I certainly can't rely on it absolutely like I can M205.

Essence works with microfiber pads not foam.

I too have a love/hate relationship with Essence. I love the result but despise the process. That stuff is almost impossible to remove from a panel. I doubt I will purchase more when I am done with my first bottle.
