Mother's Showtime and Griot's Spray Wax
I used both of these today (sorry no pics). The Mother's has kind of a light ginger smell to it, and the Griot's has a definite banana smell. Thought I'd mention that since smell is important (?) for reasons beyond my comprehension.
Anyway, I did the front half of the car with the Mother's Showtime which is a QD, and the rear with the Griot's Spray Wax...... it was about 9:30 before I finished and only had a street light as my source for being able to see and with that in mind, I cannot see a difference. This morning will (hopefully) tell the tale IF there's any difference.
The ease of use of these products was identical IMO and will definitely buy both again unless I find something else I like better and/or at a better price given it would be of good quality.
Does anyone have any experience and opinions of either of these two products? Would you recommend something different? (I'm thinking Meguiar's X-Press Wax but not sure yet). TIA

Re: Mother's Showtime and Griot's Spray Wax
I have been using the griots spray on wax after every wash. That is what's it's made for. While the vehicle is still damp before the final dry. Nice product. Leave's some protection and a real nice shine. It will prolong your LSP. One i would like to try that is OTC is TW wax as u dry. Heard some good thing's on it. BOTH are meant to be used as drying aids.
As far as a spray wax to be used on a dry vehicle, i had a chance to use pinnacle spray wax from a sample. For a stand alone spray wax it did excel. Great gloss and shine. No issues applying. Just mist then wipe.

The fragrance of our Instant Detailer is cinnamon.
Wouldn't a better comparison be our Spray Wax to Griot's Spray On Wax?

I was going to mention to the OP, you can't compare a QD to a SPRAY ON WAX. Two different animals. All tho some QD'S do have wax in them.
Poorboy’s World Quick Detailer PLUS (QD+) cleans and shines in one quick step. Spray and wipe detail spray, waterless wash
A spray on wax or wax as you dry product is just that. WAX to said finish.
A QD is mainly used as a quick method to wipe down a slightly dusty or dirty vehicle. BUT...Use caution here. Too dirty and a QD will mar and scratch the surface.
Hope this help's.

I'd have to agree with Forrest, qd=/wax, Mothers Spray wax is pretty awesome, I can donate some to you for a head to head comparison for everyone(I don't have the Griots to do my own head to head)
Back to the full-time grind.

It would be great to get a comparison of the Mother's' vs the Griot's spray waxes. If you'd like to donate some Mother's please send me a PM and I'll give you my shipping info and contribute to the shipping charges if need be. TIA

I have used this:
Mother's California Gold Spray Wax
Great scent.
Fantastic protection.
Great shine and finish.
Better than D156 in my opinion.
Highly recommend this product.

I'll definitely put that on my short list once I run low on my current stash of products. Thanks!
