I have an old towel that came with my either turtle wax ice or Eagleone Nano wax (from way back in the day). It won't absorb water at all. I am not surprised that new formulas have the same end...
Last thing I read from Megs was that this was a sealant, but called a wax for marketing to the masses. Generally, I get beading/protection through a good midwest winter and spring/summer cycle.
That seems like a ton of money to throw at a solution that doesn't last more than a year. I understand the urge to polish it out in the spring, but I feel like today's sealants do a good enough job.
That looks like a pretty intensive project. Do you seal the surface after this or just allow the aluminum to slowly oxidize? I have polished a ton of small parts and wheels, but nothing that big. I...
I have had great luck with ULW lasting all winter in Southern Indiana. I wouldn't expect it to need topped with anything. However, I suppose it wouldn't hurt it.
Why do i want to get my hands on the Megs Ceramic spray wax so bad? I have pretty well fallen off the hype train for products for years and just jumped back on. Honestly, I still have 3/4 of a...
I swapped to my factory wheels with DWS06's in mid October. They aren't near as grippy as full summer tires, but it sure beats spinning everywhere in the cold.
I didn't know you could pick this up from Napa or Lowes. I rotated the tires on my Mazda 6 last night and got a big suprise. It will be really hard to coat my undercarriage. It is almost all covered...
Duragloss Enviroshied......I prepped quite well and it appears to be dead. I have huge bird bomb etching from a turd that wasn't on the car very long at all. I put it on in the spring and...
While not exactly related, I used an airless sprayer this weekend to paint my porch. I ended up with overspray on my drive way 40 ft away or so. I was really glad I kept the garage sealed up.
