5in should be fine, as 6 would give little to no margin of error.

Here's my flex 3401 with the standard supplied 5.5in backing plate with a medium grade Nanoskin Autoscrub pad...

Thanks buddy! Hmm it was a bit overwhelming, especially the compounding part where you have to take your time and put pressure on the panels.

But without a doubt a very 'Therapeutic' Experience...

So finally today I got the chance to use my goodies!
