    Re: Question about Opti-Lens

Wow, 10 sets is actually not that bad.

See, I guarantee my work for a year, so it needs to last at least a year. I barely get a year with my sealant so I was looking for something a little better...

    Question about Opti-Lens

I have been doing a lot of headlights restoration.

Now, I always used a sealant after the job for protection but now I'm thinking about using Opti-Lens for a longer protection.
    My question is,...

Re: Really want to try polish angel

    I believe it's 18-24 months. But I'm not sure.

Also Cosmic has a hardness of 9H. That is very tough.

Re: Really want to try polish angel

custmsprty and ronkh57 should chime in on this. custmsprty got me sold on PA and ronkh57 made a nice show and sine post about some PA products.

Re: How much $$$ for detailing

Yeah, I bet they will jack up their prices next summer. Those prices are a disservice to all detailers in the area. They establish a standard that is ridiculous and makes it hard for us to charge the...

Re: How much $$$ for detailing

That's true, I have no idea what their work looks like. Maybe they do a quick and poor job.

Re: How much $$$ for detailing

    Ahhhhh I wish I had a garage.

The estimated time would be about right but sadly, in our area, I don't think you would get away with 500$

There is a mobile service around here called Mobilux,...

Re: How much $$$ for detailing

    Hi Patrice.

From what I see we live in the same area.

Anyway, pricing is the biggest puzzle for a detailer. Start by looking around what others charge for specific jobs. Are you mobile? What...
  13. Re: For you 3D fans. HD Adapt has been discontinued

I was going top buy a bottle in literally two days after seeing so much praise about the product. I thought it would be my go to product. I guess not.
  14. Re: For you 3D fans. HD Adapt has been discontinued

Please, someone, find the reason for the discontinuation of Adapt. I'm really curious.

Re: Advise on machine for 3" pads

You could also consider the Flex PE-8 Kompakt.
You can put 3", 2" and 1" backing plates.
Although it is a rotary machine. And even though it is small, it is very powerful so you have to be careful.

Re: PA Cosmic Spritz = IMPRESSIVE

    Amazing results!
  17. Poll: Re: Should I let the dealer paint my new car?

I agree. Since it's a brand new car I would hold the dealer accountable and have them repaint the whole panel.

    Re: Glaze, Seal or wax?

Read the instructions from the manufacturer of the bottle of sealant you are going to get. it's usually between 10 and 30 minutes.

    Re: Glaze, Seal or wax?

A glaze as some fillers in it to basically hide small defect in the paint. I'd say, since you are polishing, no need for a glaze. I will use a glaze when I can't or don't feel like polishing....

Re: PA Cosmic Spritz = IMPRESSIVE

    Looks amazing!

I will be testing the PA Glasscoat very soon and will tell my client about Spritz se he can maintain the coating.

    Thanks for the review.

    Wow I got burned.

Maybe I did see it before but never paid attention since I was not into detailing.

But if the product is so good, what are we all doing here asking questions about hundreds of...
