Try to use the same carrier/solvent in that Teflon polish.

Buddy, if you love your wife then you wouldn't like her getting miserable over a junky car that stale for no reason. I'm exaggerating a little bit, but you get the point.
If you are trying to achieve that bright effect, try any Oxy cleaners it should work. Also, if you want the easy way, then any optical brightener products should do the trick.
I have to agree with GSKR, you just filled the scratches with a white polish. (You can confirm that they are below or equal to the paint surface, otherwise they could be splatters).

Thanks for your answers. I just realized that pads contributes into cutting (I though it depends on the polish type). Either way, as I am getting wax/sealant answers.
