    Re: am I worthy?

Detail on the side, start building up your own brand. Use the products that you've been reading about and dying to try out. Hope everything works out for you!
  3. Re: rate my menu. this is not the final product ill fix grammar and fancy it up

    Yeah it does.
  4. Re: rate my menu. this is not the final product ill fix grammar and fancy it up

I charge a minimum of $120 for headlight restorations. Depends on your area I guess.
  5. Re: Pretty Good for my First Customer: Marketing Idea for Fellow Mobile Detailers

Get some business cards and menu cards made up and approach other businesses as well.

    Re: Company logo

    This is mine https://www.facebook.com/Steadfastdetail/

Have a look over at the business card thread, plenty of logos there to draw inspiration from.

Please don't go with the overly used "car...
  8. Ceramic coating over clear coat failure

What would happen if you did a paint correction over a car with clear coat failure (spots where clear coat is flaking off) and coat it in opticoat or something similar?

    Has anyone ever tried...

Re: Facebook users start "like"ing our pages

Nice RSX detail Shani. It's what I use to carry my equipment when I go on mobile jobs
  11. Washing microfibers cloths with brake dust/embedded dirt question

Do you guys wash your really dirty microfiber cloths with brake dust, wax residue or embedded dirt together with your 'çleaner' microfiber cloths that aren't heavily soiled?

    Re: Exterior Detail Timing Analysis

How's the sleekness of reload? I've been using Gyeon WetCoat spray sealant but it's missing any sleekness of a wax or paste sealant.

    Dirt stains under clearcoat?

Doing a customer's car tomorrow and he sent me this. He accidentally went off-road in his Mazda3 and got his car all muddy and dirty. He pressure washed it off but was left with these dirt looking...
  16. Re: How to approach businesses for waterless washes

Thanks for the motivational talk Willy :) and glad to hear that consistent effort you've put in has paid off!
  17. Re: How to approach businesses for waterless washes

I didn't mention price in my OP for the same reasons, only when asked I relented and made sure to state that I'm talking Australian dollars. I understand that the cost of living is different...
  18. Re: How to approach businesses for waterless washes

Any long term reviews of spar urethane method and opti-lens or gloss-coat treatment?
  21. Re: Which professions use high end cars?

This is exactly my thought. If I target realtors in high social economic areas, I'm pretty sure they will appreciate the convenience of a mobile waterless wash. Done in 30mins and they didn't even...
  22. Re: Which professions use high end cars?

Preferably not livery as they wouldn't own their own vehicles used for business so there's no incentive for them to spend $60-70 (australian dollars) for a waterless wash.

    I chose realtor because...
  23. Re: Which professions use high end cars?

I'll just rephrase it to "professions whose car affects their image such as realtors". Not concerned with how much money they make etc. Just want to know who to approach that will have a higher...
  24. Re: Which professions use high end cars?

    Yes that is correct
  25. Which professions use high end cars?

The only one I can think of at the moment are realtors. I want to approach them (and other professions) as they use high end cars (usually) and offer them the convenience of a 30min waterless wash...
