    Regarding product shelf life

This tuesday I'll be trading in my 2013 Focus ST with close to 100,000 on the odo for a brand new Toyota Tacoma TRD. Detailing was a hobby of mine that fell by the wayside because of life. I'm...

    Re: Opinions On Chemical Guys?

Their a real polarising company for me - some of the best and worst stuff I've used. Citrus Wash n Glass is hands down my favorite soap. Hybrid V7 is a great detailer with spray sealant in it. Diablo...
  5. Re: Do I need leather conditioner or coating protector?

Ok so I'm not the only person with the conception that most leather in cars doesn't need conditioning, but requires cleaning and care of the coating.

I've tried the CarPro Leather Coating (not...

Re: Clay bar lubricant - what's the best?

I thought about trying a mixture of IronX Snow Soap and water in a bottle. Chemical and mechanical decon in 1 step.
  7. Re: Do I need leather conditioner or coating protector?

Looks like we've got the same car. I've got the full leather seats, do you have those or the partial with fabric inserts? How are yours holding up? I've got about 35,000 on the odometer. My only...
  8. Re: Do I need leather conditioner or coating protector?

I'd say the conditioner gets essential oils into the leather to keep it from cracking. Protector would be something for the coating to stop UV rays, limit friction.

    I thought they were different...
  9. Re: Do I need leather conditioner or coating protector?

So as long as I'm using a protector like this I don't need to condition? I'm slightly confused - why have 2 different types of products that do the same thing?
  10. Do I need leather conditioner or coating protector?

I've tried researching this but I can't seem to find definitive answers. Do you need to condition coated leather seats? I've got Recaros in my Focus ST which are definitely coated. Its my...

Re: Wax and seal BEFORE applying clear bra?

I'm not doing the installation. I'm a weekend warrior level detailer, so I'll leave that to the pros.

Re: Wax and seal BEFORE applying clear bra?

Whats the best way to maintain PPF? Most waxes contain some form of an chemical abrasive, do they not? Wouldn't that hurt the film?

Wax and seal BEFORE applying clear bra?

    Hello,

First time poster, been lurking for awhile. I'm looking to trade in my Ford Focus for a 2015 Genesis Coupe 3.8 R-Spec in Empire State Grey. I'd like to get an application of paint...
