  5. Re: Driver side door not working after detailing

Glad it cleared up on its own. Steamers are notorious for blasting hot moisture into electrical components. Just need to be careful, I think if you've detailed for long enough sooner or later it...
  6. Poll: Re: How many of you use a MACHINE to WAX your vehicle?

Always...its much faster, more efficient and consistent. You can get better, more even coverage while typically using less product than you would by hand.

    Re: New Detailing Rig

Dropped the rig off at the shop today, can't wait to get it back in a few days. I decided to purchase a bed cab to fit all of my gear....this way I can leave my rear seats in and just fold them up.

    Re: Dealing with tree sap.

Go to CVS, Walgreens, local pharmacy. Get the highest proof Iso. Alcohol you can find, pour onto cloth and rub lightly takes it off quickly and safely. ReWax as needed.

Re: Are these paint defects fixable?

Sloppy prep work. Its hard to tell if those are craters or nibs. Either way they can be nearly impossible to completely get rid of.

    Re: New Detailing Rig

Im not sure how to answer that question...I would suppose hard work and a solid client base. Also firefighting isn't a job you get rich off of haha.
