    Re: Microfiber pad cleaning

Same here. Just be aware the "foam" inside tends to absorb chemicals...so rinse real well after pre-soaking. Use low setting on dryer.

    Seriously classy car!
  4. Re: good quality pressure washer for a starter carwash business

It is a consumer unit. Not likely to last years and years with commercial use. Maybe try it. If it lasts long enough, trash it when it dies and get another.

    Re: Foam Cannon Question

Thank you for the update. Glad the canon is back in service.
  6. Re: good quality pressure washer for a starter carwash business

If you are getting a gasoline powered unit, Honda engines with CAT pumps are good units.

    Re: Foam Cannon Question

The screen definitely can be clogged up by failure to clean after use.

Here is what it looks like. Not a bad idea to have some spares.

    Re: Foam Cannon Question

My GUESS is something, likely dried soap or some other foreign material, was jarred loose and plugged up the canon. There are posts and videos on how to take the canon apart and clean it.

Re: Pressure washer vs. Regular sprayer

100 psi might be a bit low...but I TOTALLY agree about not aiming a pressure washer at hands, feet, whatever... Injection wounds can be very serious. Many people get away with using the pressure...

    Re: Wax or Coating

I agree with hogie. With a coating, if you decide to correct any trail rash, you'd have to polish through the coating. If you use wax, a strip wash will be all that is needed.

    Re: Foam gun

Foam GUNS are intended to be connected to a garden hose.

Foam CANONS are intended to be used with a pressure washer.

The units are not interchangeable (although the names often, and...

I wish a moderator would put a stop to blatantly off topic posts. Some of these posts have absolutely no place on this site.

Re: Clean road grime without hand washing

In post 7, I should of said "sealant and wax" instead of "protection". Coatings would hold up to APC and strong cleaners longer than sealant and wax.

Regardless, I do not see "touchless" as a...
  16. Re: another pressure washer is dead, time for an upgrade.....

Kranzle is a high quality unit, but as chefwong noted, pricey.

Honda makes ENGINES...good ones at that. If going gas, a Honda POWERED unit is top shelf...IF it has a quality pump.

    CAT pumps are...

Re: Clean road grime without hand washing

The use of APC and other strong chemicals is likely removing any protection that is on the vehicle.

A local lab can supply a container for the sample,...
