Just wanted to thank everyone for their replies. Jeeps (Wranglers) are a PITA and also high maintenance bitches but I knew that going in.

Has to do with how they are built. Lots of creases...

I have not tried cleaning wax. I have not tried anything yet because I don't want to put the wrong thing on. It does not come off with regular washing I can tell you.

Live in snowy climate so I use touchless wash in cold months.

I have a black Jeep Wrangler so it traps a lot of water on days when I can't dry. Reason I can't dry is because the water freezes...

Soaked a sock in pure vinegar and put it over the fuel door for 30 minutes. Did not do a damn thing. Very suprised. I guess it is on to the metal polish.

I will try the vinegar first to see if that works. Thanks for the suggestions. If vinegar does not work then on to the McGuires I guess.

I have an AMI brushed aluminum fuel door. I have brushed stainless trim as well on rocker panels of Jeep.

Man I tell ya it sucks being a noob. I purchased Megs Hyper Wash only to find out it is made for a foam gun.

I am going to try washing then drying with a leaf blower.

Then light mist with Optimum Opti Clean since I have some as a drying aid and lubricant. Go over with damp micro towel and then buff...

Hmmmmmmm...... another way perhaps ?

Spray on immediately after wash
Flood car with water
Then dry with leaf blower
Then wipe with micro towel

Many on this forum are using UWW+ as a drying aid. I have some Opti Clean hanging around from winter.
So I figure Opti Clean should work similar no ?

My method would be to dry with a leaf...
