    Re: What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

    Started this last night, boy was I in for a surprise! Either this paint is in bad condition and/or Caddy paint is hard as a rock! I commend anyone that does an Escalade lol.

    ^ ^ second this.

    Those seats were disgusting. Interested in what you used.

    Nice job by the way!
  3. Re: Can someone explain “wash induced marring”?

    But if we remove all those variables, we should be left with ideally, a "marred free wash"?
  4. Re: Can someone explain “wash induced marring”?

    What I get from "wash induced marring" is one of the following;

    Re: New car prep

    I second this.

    CarPro essence has an amazing gloss enhancer in it! If you can get away with just "light" polishing, Essence is the answer every time in my opinion. It doesn't dust (with proper pad...

  15. Re: What's the best use for Green Polishing Pads?

    HD Speed is an AIO. Compound, Polish, and Sealant. I too use the Rupes Green Pad with excellent results.

    Re: My new Cyan pads are done...

    Was the issue with the thin or thick pads? Been using a Cyan thick pad a lot (and love it!) and haven't noticed any issues. Bought mine in December.

    Not to start an argument, but why can the Stoners use the same paper towels and come out perfect? Just different chemicals?
  20. Re: Optimum Opti-Glass Clean & Protect Concentrate - Review

    Not to defend Opti-Glass since I haven't used it, but have you tried diluting it a bit more? I know it's says a gallon, but from my experience with other window products is if you dilute it a little...

    The Cyan pads are definitely my favorite so far (assuming we're talking about the LC HT?) They cut good and finish nicely. The Tangerine pad for finish polishing is great. The new Megs foam pads are...
