    Re: Griots DA

It would be nice if there were some GG6 on closeout but they may keep it. I was hoping to get a machine ASAP since claying is a must after getting white paint on my black car today.

I did and talked to a chat member. They're out of stock for 3-5 weeks and can't take any orders.

    Sticky: Re: Professional Detailers list

Anyone near Sioux Falls SD? I got white paint on my black car today while driving by a city truck that was painting lines. I have some products but work 60-70 hour weeks and don't have the energy for...
  5. Re: Who's staying up to preorder the new iPhone?

I can't get one through Page Plus and don't feel I need it. I'm happy paying $30 a month for my smart phone and I don't plan on ever signing a contract again.

    Re: Waterless and rinseless methods

I've tried the GD method twice and used a bunch of towels before giving up halfway through the 2nd wash. Maybe the car was too dirty or my technique sucked but so far I prefer a 2 bucket.

You have a brand new beautiful truck, just keep it and spend more making it to your liking.

    Re: floor mats

Debating mats or liners myself. I don't like the way liners look in a family sedan...better suited for a truck.

Re: Just bought a HF DA

Debating between the PC and HF myself. Back on topic...pick up a 5 inch backing plate and some 5.5 pads. Mike recommends the Lake country flat pads for beginners.

    Re: Best drying towel?

I like my mothers towel for blotting and MFT finishes the rest.

    Re: floor mats

For actual mats I really like the Lloyd rubbertite I had in my civic. They are much better than the Introtech hexomats I have in my Lancer.

    Re: Polishing and hail damage

The body shop that fixed the hail damage went above and beyond. They did their best to fix the damage done by the dealership and did a great job on my car overall. They washed it, hit it with a AIO...

Re: Any precautiions with Iron X?

Maybe buy Trix to save time and money. It's essentially Tar X and Iron X. Don't get it on headlights or a clear bra.

Re: Watch out for dealer cover ups.

I bought a brand new 2013 Camry a few months ago and a couple weeks after we bought it it suffered hail damage. Fast forward to yesterday at the body shop to get it repaired and I get a call....
