Re: Brand new car - Bumpers don't match - ?

Most bumpers these days are supplied to the assembly line by the external vendors already painted. What you see is the product of different paint number batches or possibly totally different paint...

Re: First time polisher kit ?

Buy a Griots 6" and change the backing plate. The warranty is lifetime and the customer service stellar.

    Re: Home garage must-haves

Unfortunately it's like the rest of the internet. 10 installs, 9 are great and the one that isn't screams so loudly that people think it's all bad. I did mine when I bought the house, cheap...

    Re: Home garage must-haves

Unfortunately you have to be careful here. National Electric code says you can have 9x duplex outlets per 20A circuit. So while you may have 18 outlets, you may only have 2x 20A circuits to the...

Re: Polisher choices? New guy. Rupes Mini?

I find my Flex 3401 is noisier and has more gear clatter than my GG 6"

In my experience the GG6 with a 5" backing plate and thin pads can certainly stand it's ground to a Flex 3401 and a Rupes 15....

No, but they sure as heck discount if you ship a lot. So it's now a profit center. Pay low, sell high.

    Re: Corporate Aircraft

Wow. You really have no clue do you? A car mechanically can be worked on by any clueless person, even astronomers.

I suggest you go look at the FAA licenses needed to do an annual on a plane....

    Re: Corporate Aircraft

Don't know and didn't bother to look. Here's a guess. Call the manufacturer of the plane because they know what it's made of and what it's painted with. Which was my recommendation now wasn't it?....
